Our Ally Tax Family

Val Holland retired from the IRS and immediately started preparing taxes. She opened her own business in January 2001, which became Ally Tax & Business Services in 2011. Val has over 40 years’ experience with taxes and is a former Enrolled Agent. Val has now retired, but still loves to stay involved!

Cos Davis has held positions in R&D, sales, owned his own tax firm prior to working with Val in her former company, and continued as part of the family business. Cos has a B.S. majoring in Statistics from The University of The South, a M.S. in Forest Science from the University of Tennessee, and an Accounting Degree. He is also an Enrolled Agent, which allows him to represent taxpayers with the IRS. Cos handles all types of complex individual, small business, agricultural and estate tax returns.

Robyn Holland joined the family business in 2010. Her corporate experience includes procurement, asset management, customer service, training and accounting. Robyn is responsible for bookkeeping and payroll, as well as individual and small business tax returns.

Penny Rhoades also began working with Val in 2001. Penny takes care of individual, small business and assists with farm tax returns each season. Her background includes accounting and customer service. Penny is also a professional caterer!
